Setup Account & Password Index

On the page, you can change your password, username, email address, and other general settings:

Click the Change Password or Change Username buttons anytime. This is especially useful if you are leaving your school mid-term and need to transfer your gradebooks to a new teacher.

Your First and Last Name are seen only by other staff. Your Display Name is what students and parents see on all reports — typically Mr. or Ms. So-and-so.

Your Email address is required for all Email features, security alerts, and to service your account. It is never used for spam! The checkbox lets you hide your email so students and parents don't see it on web pages and printed reports (but they always see it when you send email).

Your Phone number is displayed on reports, or you may leave it blank. You may include comments like "408-555-1234 (no calls after 5pm please)"

Enter Your Website address if you have your own webpage. Students and parents can click your link when they login. This is different from your school's website, which admins enter on the page.

"Email me if I login on different computer" emails you a notice whenever you (or someone else!) logs into your account with the correct password on a computer or browser that you've never used before. Normally this is a helpful security alert in case someone has stolen your password, but if your computer always deletes cookies, it will send you false alerts every time you login, so you may want to uncheck this feature. (You'd still get alerts if someone tries to login with the wrong password.)

Your Account Status is displayed on this page, so you know when your license will expire, and when your payment was received. Click Send Receipt if you need another copy of your receipt. (It shows payments and receipts for individual subscribers only, not invoices for your school or district.)

The TA Access options let you give TA's restricted access to your gradebook.

The Admin Color menu lets you change the color scheme you see when you're in Admin Mode. You should choose a color that is different from your gradebook so you can easily tell when you're in Admin Mode; otherwise the two modes look very similar. (This option isn't available if you're restricted from Admin Mode. See to change color of your gradebook.)
